Angelica's senior photos

I'm guessing you may be a bit surprised to see senior photos on my blog since up until this point, I've focused on baby bumps, little kiddos and their families. Basically I very much enjoy telling the stories of important milestones whether its a woman is going through the beautiful process of pregnancy all the way to a family laughing from the joy a toddler brings to them. And, a right of passage for a teenager going into their senior year is their senior photos. I find myself excited to tell the story of who they are during this milestone in their life. Thanks Angelica for letting me capture this memorable event in your life. Now enough with the words, on to a few of my favorite photos. Enjoy!

Garden Glowing Goddess

If Jamie doesn’t believe she has the pregnancy glow, well she just needs to pull out her pregnancy session images. She has so much natural beauty and was a natural in front of the camera. In fact, basically ever single photo of her was so good that I could not decided which ones to give her on her CD. So I ended up making her to the hard part and decide. (hee hee) I gave her about double the images on her CD than what I normally do.

Her session was part of my baby to belly special. If you are expecting a little one, are interested in capturing the before and after and want a deal, this is a great special for you. This package includes a maternity session and then a newborn session. To learn more about this option, check it out on my Web site here.

In fact, as I write this, Jamie had her baby already… just yesterday. Look for Jamie’s baby’s newborn session to come soon. I know I’m looking forward to it. I always need to get a newborn baby fix in since I won’t be having another one of my own for awhile.

All I want is a pony...

In celebration to her third birthday, it was only natural we had to get some cowgirl images. This lucky little girl had a pony come to her third birthday party. She was all set with her pink cowgirl boots and hat. They were super cute even though she wasn’t a fan of keeping the hat on. Happy birthday sweetie! I hope you enjoyed your awesome birthday party.

Family fun

My aunt Val invited me to come to her family bbq while all her kids and grandkids were in town to capture some family, kid and grandkid shots. She lives on a beautiful area of rolling green fields just outside of town. It served as a great setting for some family shots all the while the hamburgers and brats where cooking just a few yards away.

Turning one!

A few of my own

Just because they are too darn cute and I can't get enough of my girls, I felt like posting these. I was searching around for some images and came across to these shots I took at the beginning of the summer. Now I can't believe the end of summer is just around the corner. In fact, our city pool closes next week already! Hopefully we can make it there one more time for a last dip in the warm, yet refreshing summer pool water.

Sweet teen

I love that this young teen's mom wanted to capture her daughter entering her teen years. This is such a transition time in a child’s life. I’ve heard too that they change pretty quickly from being a child to looking more mature within months. Something I can’t image my babies doing, but I know it’s inevitable and will happen. A photosession is a great way to mark this transition.

Like most teenagers, she is hooked to the hip with her best friend so she brought along her to be in some photos as well. I loved the giggles of girls at this age.

Watch out mom and dad! You have a beauty on your hands. And her personality is just as beautiful. I hope my girls turn out to be just as sweet when they enter their teen years.
