Domo arigatou

That is “thank you very much” in Japanese. I have to whip out the few words I do remember how to say from when I spent a summer in Japan. Bascially I want to say domo arigatou for checking out my blog. I'm glad you are here whether you are family, friends, my clients, interested clients or another photographer. I hope you find as much enjoyment viewing the photos as I do when taking them. I wanted to let you all know that I made a switch in my comments section and now you don't have to have a Google account in order to leave a comment...anyone can leave a comment now.

So drop me a line if you have any questions, comments regarding the session or just to say hi. I would love to hear from you. Domo arigatou! - Debbie

A sweet Valentine's Day present

And I don't mean chocolate, candy hearts or cherry flavored suckers. The mom of these two sweet little ones got surprise photos taken for her husband for his Valentine's Day present. I love this idea. They came in plain clothes, got dolled up in their matching attire for the photos and then changed back into their plain cloths so dad wouldn't suspect anything. Mom had it all planned out. What a fun present dad can treasure for a very long time.

Moms.....I see a Father's Day present idea here. It's never too early to book your session especially for the spring and summer months which fill up quickly for me.

To put a little smile in your day...

...check out these cuties! They were both getting ready to celebrate turning a year older and their parents wanted to capture who they are at these stages. Little B was such a little model. He loved being in front my camera and would get in little model poses all on his own. His little sis wasn't too interested in my camera and was more interested in practicing her newly acquired walking skills. But the best part was they both expressed who they are and their current stage for their photoshoot. I love that about photographing kids. It's so fun! Happy 3rd and 1st birthday little cuties!

Baby Boys Moving and Grooving - Central Iowa Child Photographer

My friend's baby twin boys just turned one and are now on the go crawling all over the place. It's so fun to watch one baby explore the ground from their hands and knees so it was even twice as cute watching two baby boy twins cruise around the photoshoot location a hundred miles per hour. And we all know how much energy one baby can be to get out of the house and stay happy for a photoshoot so image two. Luckily, grandma and grandpa just live a few miles from them and eagerly came along to help.
